Lind today announced the appointment of Shrujal Baxi, MD, MPH, as Chief Medical Officer. Baxi brings more than 15 years at the intersection of oncology, clinical research, and health technology to the role, where she will lead Lind’s clinical strategy, evidence generation, and health-system partnerships.
A medical oncologist by training, Baxi completed her fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and joined its faculty in 2011, specializing in head and neck, thyroid, and salivary cancers. A grant-funded health services and health outcomes researcher, she transitioned from academics to health technology in 2018. She served as Medical Director, Research Oncology at Flatiron Health, generating real-world evidence for clinical and regulatory decision-making, and later as Chief Medical Officer at Iterative Scopes.
“Clinical trials are a critical care option for many cancer patients, yet most who could benefit are never identified. Lind’s clinician-guided approach is the right way to close that gap — pairing AI screening with the clinical judgment that patient care demands. I’m thrilled to join the team,” said Baxi.
“Shrujal combines deep oncology expertise with a track record of building evidence at scale. Her leadership will be invaluable as we expand across health systems,” said Oggie Nikolic, CEO and Founder of Lind.
