Lind selected for Creative Destruction Lab's Computational Health Program

Lind, Menlo Park, CA, has been selected for the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Computational Health program, based at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business in Seattle. The program pairs early-stage health technology companies with experienced mentors from industry and academia over a nine-month structured program. CDL-Seattle’s Computational Health stream focuses on founders building at the intersection of computer science, data science, machine intelligence, and healthcare. The program is no-fee and takes no equity, instead, it connects startups with mentors who provide strategic guidance, technical feedback, and industry access.

CDL-Seattle’s partners include Microsoft, the Washington Research Foundation, Cooley LLP, and UW’s Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. Lind’s participation in CDL is anchored by lead mentorship from two organizations with deep expertise in clinical research: Gilead Sciences and Fred Hutch Cancer Center.

CDL’s structured mentorship model — with regular objective-setting sessions and mentor feedback provides a different kind of value than a traditional accelerator. Where CancerX connected Lind with health system champions and validated the provider-first model, CDL connects Lind with the sponsor and research institution perspective.

Understanding how sponsors think about site selection, feasibility, and protocol design is essential for building the sponsor-facing side of the Lind platform, the tools that help pharma companies run trials on the Lind network. This partnership will accelerate Lind’s ultimate goals to accelerate research across diseases.
